Focus On Healing, Inc., nonprofit organization to award integrated healthcare apprenticeship training program scholarships to area youth. FOH HELP Youth Training program, since 1995, has trained over 100 youth in reflexology and preventive healthcare approaches to wellness. Dr. Njideka N. Olatunde, a renown reflexology master, teacher, and author had the vision to train the next generation of integrated healthcare practitioners by developing a program, recruiting the youth and self funding the project. This year through family, colleagues and community support, FOH kicks off its first annual youth scholarship recruitment program for area youth ages 13-17. The scholarship program is named in honor of Cathy L. Hughes, who made it possible for the first training program to be offered at Piney Woods Country Life School 5 years ago. 7 Youth will be awarded scholarships based on the best essay titled, "What Does It Mean To Be Healthy and How Do You Maintain It".
